I have found them wanting, and discarded them. I have found them incomplete and been unable to finish them. I have found them so convoluted that I lost my way, and when I raised myself above that hedgerow maze I could not remember where I began. Is it really selfish to want to decide, alone, what I want for myself? Isn't it possible to dream, to work towards something, without sacrificing everything?
Haven't I sacrificed enough to get as far as I am? What else is there to give, and else might be done so that I can enjoy a world free of the demands that so constantly hound me?
